We choose the name for our salon because we are all Christian woman seeking to glorify God in the work that we do.
An olive branch symbolizes the hope Noah felt after the great flood and the Olive branch also symbolizes Gods relationship with his people and that he keeps His promises.
In the Bible, the oak tree symbolizes strength, endurance, and righteousness in reference to God’s relationship with his people.

Our hope is that the name Olive and Oak will be a great foundation as a household name in Sumner County. We wanted to cultivate a place of peace and righteousness. Where our guests as well as our stylists will be able to share the good news of Christ.

Our Story
Olive + Oak Hair Studio is co-owned by Heather Hille and Victoria Anderson. We met in cosmetology school in 2010 and instantly became best friends. We had dreams of one day opening a salon together, but life took us in different directions for the next 10 years. Victoria started her career in Nashville and Heather stayed in local salons. We were finally brought back together at a salon in the Gallatin area, and seeing a huge need for education in the industry, more professionalism from stylists, and a better experience for clients, we prayerfully made the leap to salon ownership. Our dream of owning our own hair studio became a reality.
